Bennington RHP Steven Collette, RHP Vance Kobelia, and RHP Riley Britch combined to throw a three-hitter and walk just one. Brattleboro C/SS Harper Cutler went 2-4 and scored a run. RHP/1B Keagan Systo went 1-4 with two runs scored. 2B John Satterfield, 1B/RHP Evan Wright, and CF Sam Bogart each scored a run. Wright threw three strong innings out of the bullpen and allowed just one run while striking out five.

Cutler's aggressive baserunning also produced two runs. CF Sam Bogart went 2-2 with three runs scored and ended the third with an amazing catch on a hard hit line drive to the outfield. 2B John Satterfield continued as the catalyst and scored three runs from the leadoff spot. The hits kept coming in this one for Brattleboro as 3B Keagan Systo, RF Gabe Alexander, RF Zach Corbeil, and SS/RHP Mason North contributed base hits. C Hayden Avard laced a walk-off RBI single to left field to win it. Bennington's bat were also swinging. C/LF/RHP Dreland Carey hit a long two-run homer. 1B/RHP Ryan Maroney also clobbered a two-run homer in the third inning. RHP Cash Campolungo added two hits for Bennington. With the series now tied at a game apiece, game three will take place on Tuesday, July 11th at the Brattleboro Little League at 5:30.

Down 9-1 after the top of the third inning, Brattleboro rallied for nine runs over the next three innings. Brattleboro was led by a 2-2 game from CF Sam Bogart and his strong outfield play. They also got clutch hits C/SS Harper Cutler and 1B/3B Keagan Systo and gritty pitching efforts from Evan Wright, Hayden Avard, and Mason North. 2B John Satterfield scored a run and had a base hit while making acrobatic plays in the field. However, the Bennington 10's came up with a few more hits to win it. CF/1B Hunter Sherwin had a strong game with two hits and two RBI. LF Sean Moriarty had a hit and scored four runs from the top spot of the order. C/RF/RHP/SS Dreland Carey hit an RBI double as well. RHP Steven Collette pitched into the fourth inning and allowed four runs while striking out four. Game four of the series will be at Hogan Field in Bennington on Thursday, July 13 at 6PM.

P Harper Cutler had two hits including an RBI double in the first to kickstart the offense. He also pitched into the fourth inning. 3B/P Keagan Systo went 2-3 with two runs scored and pitched the final two innings in the winning effort. CF Sam Bogart continued to get on base at a frenetic clip. He got a hit, walked twice, and scored a run. 2B John Satterfield, C Hayden Avard, SS Mason North, and LF Zach Corbeil also had hits for Brattleboro. Bennington's team was down early but did not give up. Leadoff hitter CF Sean Moriarty had two hits and three runs scored. He hit a long triple in the fourth inning that was the first of four two-out runs. 1B Hunter Sherwin continued to star in the series. He scored two runs and hit an RBI single. After the game, a coin flip determined that the deciding game five will be held in Bennington on Saturday, July 15 at 10AM.

John Satterfield, Harper Cutler, and Keagan Systo all scored in the first inning for Brattleboro. Hayden Avard and Montez Venson also scored late. Brattleboro took advantage of walks and errors to score their five runs. Bennington was led by Vance Kobelia who went 2-3 and scored twice. Stephen Collette and Hunter Sherwin collected base hits. Bennington advances to the state tournament to be held in Shelburne, VT.
