CF Dylan Sparks also had 3 hits for the Bucs. The Cardinals offense struggled to get going against Forkin with C Jolie Glidden getting the lone base hit. A bright spot for the Redbirds was the bullpen performance by rookie RHP Asher Jackson who struck out 7 batters across 3 1/3 innings of 3-run ball in his debut.

RHP Hayden Avard struck out 8 to push the Giants to their second win. Avard also scored twice out of the leadoff spot in the order. 2B/RHP Rowan Lonergan and SS Tucker Sargent each had two hits and scored three runs. 1B Degan Gundry scored four runs. Giants rookie CF Kymarion Hall hit a double for his first Little League hit. The Cardinals jumped out the gate with four first inning runs by taking advantage of walks. RHP/1B Mason North and 1B/RHP Jolie Glidden each scored two runs. SS Asher Jackson and RF Ryan Young scored runs in this one as well.

The Reds' Nolan Chisholm and the Cardinals' Asher Jackson both pitched effectively in their starts. Scoreless until the bottom of the third, the Reds then strung together consecutive hits from Jett Emery, Jackson Emery, and Sam Tainter. All came around to score. Chisholm, hitting out the leadoff spot, had two late hits including a long triple. He also struck out seven across his three innings on the mound. The Cardinals scored four runs in the fourth inning when Jayke Glidden, Jolie Glidden, Mason North, and Ryan Young crossed the plate. North had a hit and showed a strong arm from shortstop. First year player Savanna Turner notched her first RBI for the Redbirds.

First year player Henry Schwartz had two hits and scored a run. The Cardinals' Mason North got the start and struck out 4. Asher Jackson hit a double and Jolie Glidden added a single. Jayke Glidden, Kadin Mcallister, Savanna Turner, and Logan Kelsey all scored in the fifth inning.

The Athletics ran their record to a perfect 5-0 with a win over the Cardinals. Cameron Cruz, Charlie Clark, Zach Corbeil, Brandon Weeks, and Karson Elliot all hit run-producing triples. A's pitchers Alex McClelland, Bronson Finnell, and Silas Golding combined for 8 strikeouts. Golding hit an RBI single in the third inning and then threw a scoreless fourth in his mound debut. Asher Jackson got the start for the Cardinals and struck out 4. Chase Austin threw a scoreless fourth inning in relief. Mason North played solidly at shortstop.

A full team effort by the Cardinals got them past the Royals in a thriller. Down by 11 runs through the first two innings, the Cardinals stormed back to win with RBI hits from Jolie Glidden, Connor Griffus, and Asher Jackson. Jackson went 4-4 with 3 RBI and Mason North scored three runs. The Cardinals also got hits from Logan Kelsey, Chase Austin, and Ryan Young in the rally. The Royals jumped out to an early lead on the strength of 4 RBI on two hits by Ozzie VanHendrick. Jahvonn Petrie also had two hits including a long double. Jayson Tirrell, Gordie Kalill, and Riley Morse each got base hits. Cardinals pitchers Austin and North combined for 11 strikeouts and one run allowed through the final 5 innings to seal the victory.

Gabe Alexander threw 3 1/3 innings of 2-run ball to lead the Mets to their fourth victory of the season - doubling their total from last season. Alexander allowed just three hits and struck out four batters. He also had a base hit and scored four runs while teaming up with John Satterfield to wreak havoc on the base paths. Satterfield was aboard all five times he came to the plate with two hits and four runs scored. Will Miskovich had two long hits - a double and a scorching two-run triple. Matthew Montgomery added a double while Evan Wright and Landyn Cartee each scored two runs. Cartee also made a successful mound debut, striking out the last two batters of the game. Jolie Glidden of the Cardinals got the start and struck out 7 batters across three innings of work. He also hit an RBI single in the first inning. Alaya Smith and Chase Austin scored the Redbirds' two runs. They also got base hits from Asher Jackson and Eli Coughlin.

The Bucs also got two hits, three RBI and three runs scored from Troy Forkin. Dylan Sparks scored three runs as well and added a base hit. Sam Bogart, Sam Madow, and Brady Sparks each had base hits. Brady Sparks also tossed a scoreless 1 1/3 in the lefty's league pitching debut. The Cardinals were held to just one hit - an Asher Jackson double in the fourth. Despite that, they were still able to score 8 runs by showing patience a the plate. In the third inning, the Redbirds scored 7 runs via walks. Mason North, Kadin Mcallister, Jolie Glidden, Ryan Young, Jayke Glidden, Jackson, and Eli Couglin all came around to score in the game. Jayke Glidden scored twice and made his season debut on the mound.

Tucker Sargent hit a majestic three-run home run deep into the night to lead the young Giants to their seventh win. He also scored three runs and played a flawless game at shortstop. The Giants' pitching staff did their part in this one too as Degan Gundry threw three scoreless innings with 9 strikeouts and just one hit allowed. Quin Forchion made his season debut on the mound and threw a scoreless fourth inning with two strikeouts. The Giants also got two hits and three RBI from rookie Donnevhan Hall. Gundry had two hits, 1 RBI, and three runs scored. The Cardinals got a base hit from Jolie Glidden. Mason North and Asher Jackson each scored a run. Connor Griffus made two impressive stops at 3B. Leadoff hitter Chase Austin had an RBI and a stolen base. He also pitched a scoreless third inning with two strikeouts.

Sam Tainter had a four hit game and knocked in 3 runs. The Reds third baseman hit 2 singles, a double, and a triple en route to the Reds' seventh win of the season. The Red also got a solid pitching performance from Jett Emery who gave up just three hits and struck out four batters across his 4 1/3 innings. At the plate, Emery had two hits and an RBI. Reds SS Nolan Chisholm knocked in four runs including bases-clearing double in the fifth inning. Jolie Glidden led the Cardinals' offense with two hits and two runs scored. Connor Griffus hit an RBI single in the first inning. The Redbirds also got RBI's from Ryan Young and Jayke Glidden. Asher Jackson showed great range and instincts at shortstop.

The Red Sox hit 5 triples - two by Will Hill - to storm past the Cardinals. Hill went 4-4 at the plate and knocked in five. Hill also started on the mound. He struck out 9 batters and gave up just one hit across four innings pitched. Ben Berg hit one of the Sox triples and went 3-4 with four runs scored. Harper Cutler (3-3) and Noah Perusse (2-3) each hit triples as well. Wyatt Sargent added a long RBI double in the fifth inning. Mason North got the start on the hill for the Cardinals and he struck out five. Asher Jackson went 1-2 at the plate and pitched in relief. North and Ryan Young each scored runs for the Redbirds.

The Athletics got their 11th consecutive win with strong pitching and by scoring 11 runs on Saturday at the Brattleboro Little League Field. Thomas Bell (9 K's) and Alex McClelland (3 K's) combined to allow just one run to the Cardinals. On offense, the A's got two hits each from McClelland, Charlie Clark, and Zach Corbeil. Clark and Corbeil each scored three runs. Jolie Glidden struck out 4 in his start for the Cardinals. Asher Jackson pitched in relief and scored the Cardinals' run after walking in the second inning. Defensively, Connor Griffus made several strong stops at third base.

Sean Cozza started for the Royals and struck out six batters over 2 1/3 innings. At the plate, he had two hits and four runs scored. Gordie Kalill came in from the bullpen and struck out four. Jahvonn Petrie mashed a long triple and had three hits and 5 RBI. Kalill and Ozzie VanHendrick each had two hits. VanHendrick scored four runs. Riley Morse, Kyle Purdy, Noah Gagne, and Ryder Leary all came around to score in the Royals' first win. Jolie Glidden of the Cardinals blasted an RBI triple to center field in the third inning. He also walked and scored in the first. Ryan Young scored twice and went 1-2. Connor Griffus hit an RBI double and scored. Chase Austin added a base hit and a run scored.

The Mets finished the 2018 season with their seventh win. They ended the season with five more wins than last year's total. The Mets used four pitchers to get past the Cardinals - Landyn Cartee, Gabe Alexander, Matt Satterfield, and John Satterfield. The cadre of pitchers combined to strike out 10 batters. Hits were hard to come by for the Mets but they had four players who took advantage of walks and errors to score multiple runs. Alexander went 1-2 with three runs scored. Will Miskovich, Evan Wright, and Nate Potter each scored twice. The Cardinals got a double from Jolie Glidden who scored three runs. Mason North scored two runs. Connor Griffus and Asher Jackson each had base hits. Jackson also came in from the bullpen to stifle the Mets. He gave up one run across 3 2/3 innings while striking out four.
