Giants rookie CF Kymarion Hall hit a double for his first Little League hit. The Cardinals jumped out the gate with four first inning runs by taking advantage of walks. In a battle of unbeaten teams, the Athletics prevailed behind a stellar outing from Charlie Clark. Clark threw 5 1/3 no-hit innings against the Giants to lead the Athletics to their third win. He struck out 14 batters and didn't allow a hit until 1B Rowan Lonergan's opposite field single in the sixth inning. CF Brandon Weeks aided Clark's cause with a fifth inning home run to right center field - his first of the season. RHP Degan Gundry matched Clark until the A's broke through with four runs in the fourth inning. C Alex McClelland, Clark, 3B Bronson Finnell, and 1B Thomas Bell all touched the plate in the fourth. Gundry struck out 9 across 4 1/3 innings for the Giants. 3B Kymarion Hall, Lonergan, and Gundry all came around to score in the sixth inning.

Down until the sixth inning, the Giants stormed back with four runs to defeat the Mets. Degan Gundry had three hits and knocked in a pair of runs. Hayden Avard and Rowan Lonergan each had a hit and scored twice out of the top of Giants' batting order. Quin Forchion, Derek Sargent, Donnevhan Hall, and Jameson Garvey all scored in the sixth inning rally. The Giants also made the defensive play of the game with Cooper LaFlam, Tucker Sargent, and Forchion completing a relay to get a runner coming into third. The Mets once again had a strong game in what has been a great second season for the club. Leadoff hitter John Satterfield played catalyst once again with three runs scored and was on base all six times he came to the plate. Gabe Alexander added two hits and Evan Wright had three. Will Miskovich and Wright each had 2 RBI. Nate Potter had a base hit and continued to show great range at second base.

Jett Emery hit a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning to get the Reds past the Giants. Jett's base hit to left field was his only hit of the day but he also walked and scored in the first inning. Jackson Emery started on the mound for the Reds and struck out 8 across four innings of one-run ball. He also hit a long 2-run double in the first to get the Reds on the board. Degan Gundry matched Emery with 8 strikeouts and only two hits allowed over three innings. The Giants took a fifth inning lead powered by a grand slam from Tucker Sargent - his first home run of the season. Rowan Lonergan was aboard for Sargent's slam and went 2-4. Gundry also had two hits and scored a run. Quin Forchion added an RBI single in the firth. Willem Thurber of the Reds picked up the win in relief and had two hits including a long triple.

The Giants also got base hits from Derek Sargent and Quin Forchion in the victory. The Pirates got a strong outing from Nick Gerard who struck out 8. Troy Forkin and Sam Bogart hit RBI doubles to pace the Pirates offense. The Bucs also got runs scored from Sam Madow and Matthew Worden.

Degan Gundry got the start for the Giants and threw three innings of shutout ball with seven strikeouts. Tucker Sargent came in from the bullpen to pitch three more scoreless innings to complete the shutout. At the plate, Donnevhan Hall got the scoring started with a two-run single in the first inning. Sargent hit two doubles and scored two runs. Gundry also scored twice and had a base hit. The Giants defense continued to be impressive as well; Hayden Avard played strong behind the plate and Halen Ranslow made a nice catch in right field. The Red Sox got two hits from first baseman Wyatt Sargent and one hit from Will Hill. Hill also started on the mound and struck out four. Harper Cutler relieved and threw three shutout innings. In the field, Vaughn LaFleur made a solid catch in left and Dane Mulverhill continued to improve at catcher.

The Royals got an excellent start from Sean Cozza who threw 3 2/3 innings and departed with an 8-3 lead. Royals Catcher Riley Morse had two opposite field extra base hits and knocked in a run. Jahvonn Petrie hit a booming double in the third inning and came around to score. He also had an RBI in the fifth inning. Cozza scored three runs from the third spot in the order. Gordie Kalill was aboard twice and scored both times.

His home run ties for the league lead. Tucker Sargent hit a ball into the right field corner for an inside-the-park home run as part of 2-3 day with four RBI. Rowan Lonergan went 3-4 and scored four. Hayden Avard tossed three hitless innings out of the bullpen to hold onto the Giants' lead. The Mets' offense was led by John Satterfield who hit two long triples and scored twice. Evan Wright knocked in a pair and stole two bases. Gabe Alexander was on base three times, scored twice, and knocked in a run.

In the second extra inning game of the season, the Reds scored twice in the seventh inning to get by the Giants. The game began as a pitchers' duel with Degan Gundry of the Giants and Willem Thurber of the Reds. Gundry struck out 14 batters and allowed just two hits in six innings. Thurber struck out 11 for the Reds across four innings. Sam Tainter relieved for the Reds and picked up the win with two innings of one-run baseball. Thurber hit his first home run of the season in the first inning. He went 3-3 with two runs scored and three RBI. Jett Emery scored three runs for the winners. The Giants got a stellar outing from Gundry and a strong game from Tucker Sargent at the plate. Sargent hit his third home run of the season. He also hit a triple and scored twice. Donnevhan Hall scored two late runs for the Giants and got a base hit.

The Giants finished off their 2018 season in style. Degan Gundry led the way on the mound and at the plate. He started on the hill and struck out seven batters over four innings while allowing just two runs. Gundry went 2-4 with a grand slam and four runs scored. His grand slam was his league-leading sixth home run on the season and it came in his final regular season Little League at bat. Tucker Sargent went back-to-back with Gundry in the sixth to cap off their time with the Giants. Sargent's home run was his fourth on the season. Hayden Avard had another productive day from the leadoff spot with two hits and three runs scored. Rowan Lonergan scored three times and finished the game by starting a double play from shortstop. The Pirates got runs scored from Sam Bogart, Aliza Speno, Sam Madow, Brady Sparks, Matthew Worden, and Eason DeMarsico. Speno went 1-3 and Troy Forkin hit a double. Bogart had a strong day at shortstop as well. He speared several liners and showed great range.
