RHP Troy Forkin was masterful on the mound for Pirates as he effectively changed speeds and kept Reds hitters off-balance. He struck out 13 and walked just two over 5 2/3 no-hit innings. After reaching his pitch limit, Forkin departed and was relieved by RHP Sam Bogart who struck out the last batter to complete the no-hitter. Forkin also went 2-2 with a walk at the plate. Bogart and C Nick Gerard each had a hit and a run scored. 2B Aliza Speno also had a hit as the Pirates squeaked by the Reds. The Reds' RHP Jackson Emery matched Forkin for most of the game and struck out 10 over five innings pitched. He also benefited from solid defense behind him from SS Nolan Chisholm and 3B Sam Tainter.

RHP John Satterfield struck out 5 batters across five strong innings in the mist to push the Mets to their second victory. The bats came alive for the Mets in this one as well. Satterfield had two hits and scored three runs. SS Gabe Alexander had four hits and once again showed great range in the field. 1B/RHP Will Miskovich had a three-hit night and scored twice. The Pirates got a late three-run home run from C Nick Gerard. The blast to right center field got the Pirates to within three runs in the sixth inning. He went 3-4. CF Dylan Sparks had another multi-hit game, going 2-3 with a single and a double. 3B/SS Troy Forkin hit a double and scored. Rookie RF Brady Sparks got his first Little League hit and came around to score in the sixth inning.

Pirates catcher Nick Gerard hit two home runs including an inside the park shot to push the Pirates past the Red Sox. Troy Forkin once again dominated on the mound with 11 strikeouts. He allowed just two hits - one to Will Hill in the first inning and one to Harper Cutler in the fourth inning. Cutler would later score in that inning for the lone Red Sox run. Gerard led the Pirates offense but the Bucs also got another multi-hit game from Sam Bogart who went 2-3 with a walk. Forkin went 3-4 and Sam Madow went 2-3 with a booming double. Dylan Sparks added a late double as well. The Red Sox got stellar outfield play from Henry Schwartz who started a double-play with a great catch and then strong throw to second base.

Degan Gundry struck out 12 batters to net the Giants their fourth win. He dominated in the first three innings and had a spree of 7 strikeouts in a row. At the plate, Gundry doubled and hit his first home run of the year. Tucker Sargent pitched well in relief and added an RBI single. The Giants also got base hits from Derek Sargent and Quin Forchion in the victory. The Pirates got a strong outing from Nick Gerard who struck out 8. Troy Forkin and Sam Bogart hit RBI doubles to pace the Pirates offense. The Bucs also got runs scored from Sam Madow and Matthew Worden.

Brady Sparks also tossed a scoreless 1 1/3 in the lefty's league pitching debut. The Cardinals were held to just one hit - an Asher Jackson double in the fourth. Despite that, they were still able to score 8 runs by showing patience a the plate. In the third inning, the Redbirds scored 7 runs via walks. Mason North, Kadin Mcallister, Jolie Glidden, Ryan Young, Jayke Glidden, Jackson, and Eli Couglin all came around to score in the game. Jayke Glidden scored twice and made his season debut on the mound.

The Pirates also got base hits from Sam Bogart and Dylan Sparks. While most of the Reds' hitters had trouble with Forkin, Jett Emery had a perfect 3-3 at the plate. He also had an RBI and a steal. Jackson Emery and Jasmin Vargas each had base hits. Nick Fortier played a strong backstop and added a run scored.

Sam Bogart had a base hit and scored three times. The Pirates also got hits from Aliza Speno and Brady Sparks. Speno added a pair of runs. Sean Cozza struck out five batters in his start for the Royals. Outfielder Jayson Tirell got a base hit for the Royals - a hard hit ball into center field. Matthew Worden hit a single and was on base 4 times. The Red Sox got a hit from Will Hill who was on base three times, scored a run, and stole a base. Henry Schwartz also got a base hit for the Sox and struck out three across three innings out of the bullpen.

The Athletics continued their undefeated 2018 season with another win on Saturday morning at the Brattleboro Little League Field. Led by pitchers Alex McClelland, Keagan Systo, and Thomas Bell, the Athletics no-hit the 2nd place Pirates and won 11-0. The A's did have to contend with several baserunners who were aboard via walks and hit by pitches but they played error-free defense to hold off the Bucs. Brandon Weeks provided the offensive power with a grand slam in the fifth inning to pad the lead. The home run was his third on the season. Charlie Clark and Systo each had two hits and Clark scored twice. Bell, McClelland, Lucas Lamorder, and Zach Corbeil each added hits. The Pirates got a strong start from Sam Bogart on the mound. He struck out 6 over three innings and held the A's scoreless until the third. Aliza Speno (SS) and Sam Madow (3B) provided solid defense. Damien Fontaine relieved for the Pirates and struck out four while showing strong command of the strike zone.

The Giants finished off their 2018 season in style. Degan Gundry led the way on the mound and at the plate. He started on the hill and struck out seven batters over four innings while allowing just two runs. Gundry went 2-4 with a grand slam and four runs scored. His grand slam was his league-leading sixth home run on the season and it came in his final regular season Little League at bat. Tucker Sargent went back-to-back with Gundry in the sixth to cap off their time with the Giants. Sargent's home run was his fourth on the season. Hayden Avard had another productive day from the leadoff spot with two hits and three runs scored. Rowan Lonergan scored three times and finished the game by starting a double play from shortstop. The Pirates got runs scored from Sam Bogart, Aliza Speno, Sam Madow, Brady Sparks, Matthew Worden, and Eason DeMarsico. Speno went 1-3 and Troy Forkin hit a double. Bogart had a strong day at shortstop as well. He speared several liners and showed great range.
