The Reds prevailed in seven innings over the Mets in Brattleboro Little League's season opener. RHP Willem Thurber started on the mound for the Reds and paced the offense with two hits and three RBI. Reds SS Nolan Chisholm contributed two hits and two runs scored out of the leadoff spot in the order. The Mets jumped out to an early 6-0 lead powered by C Will Miskovich's bases-clearing triple in the second inning. SS/RHP John Satterfield, RHP/Evan Wright, and Miskovich all had two hits in a spirited first game.

RHP Troy Forkin was masterful on the mound for Pirates as he effectively changed speeds and kept Reds hitters off-balance. He struck out 13 and walked just two over 5 2/3 no-hit innings. After reaching his pitch limit, Forkin departed and was relieved by RHP Sam Bogart who struck out the last batter to complete the no-hitter. Forkin also went 2-2 with a walk at the plate. Bogart and C Nick Gerard each had a hit and a run scored. 2B Aliza Speno also had a hit as the Pirates squeaked by the Reds. The Reds' RHP Jackson Emery matched Forkin for most of the game and struck out 10 over five innings pitched. He also benefited from solid defense behind him from SS Nolan Chisholm and 3B Sam Tainter.

The Reds' Nolan Chisholm and the Cardinals' Asher Jackson both pitched effectively in their starts. Scoreless until the bottom of the third, the Reds then strung together consecutive hits from Jett Emery, Jackson Emery, and Sam Tainter. All came around to score. Chisholm, hitting out the leadoff spot, had two late hits including a long triple. He also struck out seven across his three innings on the mound. The Cardinals scored four runs in the fourth inning when Jayke Glidden, Jolie Glidden, Mason North, and Ryan Young crossed the plate. North had a hit and showed a strong arm from shortstop. First year player Savanna Turner notched her first RBI for the Redbirds.

Jett's base hit to left field was his only hit of the day but he also walked and scored in the first inning. Jackson Emery started on the mound for the Reds and struck out 8 across four innings of one-run ball. He also hit a long 2-run double in the first to get the Reds on the board. Degan Gundry matched Emery with 8 strikeouts and only two hits allowed over three innings. The Giants took a fifth inning lead powered by a grand slam from Tucker Sargent - his first home run of the season. Rowan Lonergan was aboard for Sargent's slam and went 2-4. Gundry also had two hits and scored a run. Quin Forchion added an RBI single in the firth. Willem Thurber of the Reds picked up the win in relief and had two hits including a long triple.

The Reds got their 4th win behind key hits and strong pitching. Jackson Emery hit a two-out RBI triple in the third inning and later scored to give the Reds an early lead. The Red Sox came right back in the bottom of the third with a hit from Vaughn LaFleur who came in to score on an Izaya Bullins' base hit. Will Hill and Dane Mulverhill also had RBI hits in the frame. The Reds then got a key bullpen performance from Willem Thurber who would shut out the Red Sox over the final three innings. Reds Jett Emery and Sam Tainter added to the Reds lead in the later innings. Emery hit an RBI double in the fourth inning and Tainter had a base hit and scored a run in the fifth.

Reds pitcher Jett Emery struck out 8 Royals in his first start of the season. He allowed just one run on two hits to pick up the win. Nolan Chisholm pitched well in relief of Emery and picked up 7 strikeouts in 2 2/3 hitless innings. The Reds' bats also were going strong in this one. Jackson Emery hit a long triple in the third inning and came around to score on the play. Willem Thurber had a base hit and two runs scored. Will Fontaine hit a double and Lucas Stolpp got a base hit as well. NicK Fortier made his debut at catcher for the Reds and proved very competent behind the plate. He also scored two runs. The Royals showed improvement but were held to two hits by the Reds' pitching staff. Ozzie VanHendrick knocked in the Royals' lone run with an RBI single in the third inning. Ryder Leary had the other Royals hit - a single in the second inning. On the mound, VenHendrick threw well and allowed just three runs across three innings of work.

The Mets struggled to get the bats going against Emery but John Satterfield had a base hit and scored twice. Gabe Alexander also scored a run. The Pirates also got base hits from Sam Bogart and Dylan Sparks. While most of the Reds' hitters had trouble with Forkin, Jett Emery had a perfect 3-3 at the plate. He also had an RBI and a steal. Jackson Emery and Jasmin Vargas each had base hits. Nick Fortier played a strong backstop and added a run scored.

Karson Elliot and Jackson Emery matched up in one of the season's finest pitching duels. Both pitchers piled up the strikeouts - Elliot with 15 and Emery with 14. Elliot's no-hitter was the first of his career. Emery pitched a gem as well - a one hitter. After three innings of scoreless baseball, the Athletics broke through with two runs in the fourth. Elliot laced a two-out 2 run double down the third base line to score Alex McClelland and Keagan Systo for the game's only runs. The Reds' Willem Thurber added to the strikeout totals with two more out of the bullpen. The pitching staffs combined for 31 strikeouts with only 6 balls hit into play.

The game began as a pitchers' duel with Degan Gundry of the Giants and Willem Thurber of the Reds. Gundry struck out 14 batters and allowed just two hits in six innings. Thurber struck out 11 for the Reds across four innings. Sam Tainter relieved for the Reds and picked up the win with two innings of one-run baseball. Thurber hit his first home run of the season in the first inning. He went 3-3 with two runs scored and three RBI. Jett Emery scored three runs for the winners. The Giants got a stellar outing from Gundry and a strong game from Tucker Sargent at the plate. Sargent hit his third home run of the season. He also hit a triple and scored twice. Donnevhan Hall scored two late runs for the Giants and got a base hit.

The Red Sox got their fourth win of the season with an 11-5 victory over the Reds. Red Sox first baseman Wyatt Sargent went 2-4 with three RBI to lead the offense. Harper Cutler scored three runs and pitched 3 scoreless innings to secure the victory. The Red Sox also benefited from strong infield play from Will Hill (3B), Noah Perusse (2B), and Ben Berg (SS). At the plate, Hill scored twice and Perusse hit an RBI single. Berg went 1-3 with two runs scored. First year players Vaughn LaFleur and Henry Schwartz each had base hits. The Reds got a strong start from Jackson Emery and an amazing catch from Lucas Stolpp. Jackson tossed 3 1/3 innings and struck out eight. Stolpp made one of the finest plays of the season when he dove in center field to take away a double. The Reds struggled offensively but Sam Tainter hit a double and scored. Nolan Chisholm and Nick Fortier also had base hits.

The Reds got a strong start from Jett Emery who scattered three hits over four innings to earn the win. At the plate, Jett had two hits and scored three times. Jackson Emery hit his first Little League home run - a two run shot in the third inning. He nearly had another home run - a deep drive that hit high off the wall in left-center field and went for a double. Willem Thurber hit a two-run double and scored twice. First year player Nick Fortier had two hard hit balls that went for a single and a double. He also scored two runs and continued to show strong skills behind the plate. Sam Tainter legged out a long triple and stole a base. Nolan Chisholm and Will Fontaine added base hits. The Royals were led by Sean Cozza who continued an impressive rookie campaign with two hits from the top of the order. Jahvonn Petrie scored a run and had an RBI. Gordie Kalill had a base hit and Noah Gagne scored a run for the Royals. Daniel Mahoney-Schmitt had a nice running catch in left field and Nick Manley capped off his rookie year with strong play at the hot corner.
